Mind Control

Have you noticed that the left has now come to the point that if you do not agree with them, they attack you? They not only do this with actual physical attacks, they attempt to use the power of government to force you to their point of view. Think about forcing bakers to make cakes for homosexual weddings and many other things such as that. Have you noticed that those of us that promote freedom of speech and religion do not force others to agree with us? It is those that would take away our freedoms that try to force us to believe as they do. It is not enough that we make no attempt to silence their viewpoints, but they insist that we agree with them.

During my Bible reading this morning I noticed a verse that shows us that all of this is nothing new:

Isaiah 59:15   Yea, truth faileth;
and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey:
and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him
that there was no judgment.

God is a homophobe

Judge Walker in California has imposed his OPINION to overturn what over seven million people voted for. They voted to define marriage as between a man and a woman. What a radical idea! This activist judge wrote over one hundred pages in which he says in so many words, that the concept of marriage as it has existed since the dawn of time, is homophobic. Everyone that has ever existed before him was wrong but he is right. Not the least bit arrogant is it? We can be very sure that his own  lifestyle had absolutely nothing to do with his decision!

Would it make sense to say that when someone makes something, and retains ownership, has the right to say how that item is used? The man that made the item surely would have the best insight into how the item works and would know what would damage it or decrease the efficiency.

God made people. God defined marriage. God says that homosexuality is sin. In Old Testament times  it was a capital crime. Judge Walker comes along and says that God is wrong about all of that. Wow, I would like to meet a person that is smarter than God! Hey, wait, that would make him god, would it not? Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.  (Romans 1:25 KJV)  Would you want a God that your mind could fully understand? Not me, a God no smarter than me would be very frightening!

Christians do not hate homosexual people. They hate the lifestyle because it is an abomination to God. God destroyed several entire cities because of the proliferation of homosexuality. You may have heard of one of the cities. Sodom. Prior to the destruction of the cities, God gave everyone a chance to escape, but the people just laughed at Lot when he warned them. God does not want to kill people. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  (2 Peter 3:9 KJV)

Below are just a few verses that show us God's opinion on these things. God a homophobe? Hardly, God afraid of insignificant humans? Yeah, right.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.  (Genesis 1:27 KJV)

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.  (Genesis 2:24 KJV)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.  (Leviticus 20:13 KJV)

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.  (Romans 1:27 KJV)

Dale Mcalpine was handing out leaflets to shoppers when he told a passer-by and a gay police community support officer that, as a Christian, he believed homosexuality was one of a number of sins that go against the word of God.

Mr Mcalpine said that he did not repeat his remarks on homosexuality when he preached from the top of a stepladder after his leafleting.

But he has been told that police officers are alleging they heard him making his remarks to a member of the public in a loud voice that could be overheard by others...

My, have things changed. I was honored to have Rev. Franklin Graham speak at my Governor’s Prayer Breakfasts. His good work in Alaska’s Native villages and his charitable efforts all over the world stem from his servant’s heart. In my years of knowing him, I’ve never found his tempered and biblically-based comments to be offensive – in fact his words have been encouraging and full of real hope.

It’s truly a sad day when such a fine patriotic man, whose son is serving on his fourth deployment in Afghanistan to protect our freedom of speech and religion, is dis-invited from speaking at the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer service. His comments in 2001 were aimed at those who are so radical that they would kill innocent people and subjugate women in the name of religion.

Are we really so hyper-politically correct that we can’t abide a Christian minister who expresses his views on matters of faith? What a shame. Yes, things have changed.
