Chimps are people, babies are not

Well, if you want your banana, you can keep your banana. A group called the Nonhuman Rights Project has requested a New York state court declare Tommy, a 26-year-old chimp, “a cognitively complex autonomous legal person with the fundamental legal right not to be imprisoned.” As reported by The [UK] Telegraph, three other chimps — Kiki, Hercules, and Leo — have also had lawsuits filed on their behalf by this group. Folks, this is liberalism in a nutshell. Chimpanzee = person; unborn baby = not a person.
