Proverbs 3:7, Be not wise in thine
own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. We all are very adept and
very practiced at justifying (and thus, continuing) our sin. To all of us:
KNOCK IT OFF!!!
“And he heard the words of Laban’s sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father’s; and of that which was our father’s hath he gotten all this glory.”
The sons of Laban fell for the age-old excuse as to why someone else had more than them,
“Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.”
God never said that doing the right thing would always be easy.
