One of the greatest attributes of God is His selflessness.
John 3:2

A visitor came to Jesus at night to ask Him a question. This visitor was not an unknown person, but a religious leader of his day.

One of the main ingredients to the success of the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ was that He was focused.
Mark 10:8
"And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh."
There is much to be learned about marriage in Mark 10:6-9. Jesus had been asked if it was lawful for a couple to get divorced.

"And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?"
When the power goes out in your house, immediately the scramble starts to find the closet or drawers where you've stored your candles.
Matthew 27:37
"And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS."
When Jesus was crucified, they nailed a sign over his head that said, "THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS." This sign was not written to honor Him.
Matthew 21:28
"But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard."
Jesus told a parable about a man who had two sons.
Zechariah 13:3
"And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth."
The convicting power of truth is amazing.
Zechariah 4:10
"For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth."
The power of small things can never be underestimated. Everything big starts out small.
