Deuteronomy 28:2
"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God."
Rarely do you find a promise as open ended as the promise in the verse above.
Deuteronomy 7:10
"And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face."
Confrontational meetings are uncomfortable for both those watching it and for the one's involved.
Deuteronomy 3:28
"But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see."
Admit it, you are not going to be in your place of leadership forever.
Number 25:11
"Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy."
The events that led up to Phinehas' zeal being revealed were tragic.
Numbers 14:29
"Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,"
When God told the children of Israel that all those from twenty years of age and above were going to die in the wilderness, it was as if it was a death sentence.
Numbers 5:4
"And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel."
Profiling seems to be a dirty word in a politically correct society, but if you fly as much as I do, you don't mind if security agents profile people.
Leviticus 11:44
"For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
Christianity has become a hodgepodge of every type of lifestyle.
Exodus 33:3
"Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way."
To have something, and then to lose it must leave the emptiest feeling.
Exodus 1:17
"But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive."
As a Christian, you must never lose sight of Whom you are serving.
Genesis 35:1
"And God said unto Jacob, Arise, go up to Bethel, and dwell there: and make there an altar unto God, that appeared unto thee when thou fleddest from the face of Esau thy brother."
At some time or another you will have to get right with God.
