2 Chronicles 32:31
"Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart."
One of the most misunderstood phrases in the Scriptures is found in the verse above when it says, "God left him, to try him..."
Psalm 37:1
"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity."
"Stand Down," the commanding officer gives to the advancing troops.
2 Chronicles 12:8
"Nevertheless they shall be his servants; that they may know my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries."
Rehoboam learned first hand that forgiveness does not remove consequences.
