Bible Thoughts by Terry Hedderman

- Tuesday, 5/15/18  Matthew 26:38, Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me. Jesus, in His perfection and sinlessness wanted to know that people were with Him in His burdens. How much more do WE need that? Whom do you know that is hurting?

- Tuesday, 5/8/18  Genesis 39:3b-4, ...the Lord made all that he did to prosper in his hand. And Joseph found grace in [Potiphar’s] sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. Joseph made the best of a bad situation: still a slave...but he took God’s favor and capitalized on it. Maybe we could/should do the same? Accentuate the positives; dismiss the negatives; work diligently always?

- Tuesday, 5/1/18  Genesis 13:7, And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land. An old outline, but when we fuss with other believers, the unsaved see it. Do you criticize your spouse or church folks? Do you cause them to do so?
