Bible Thoughts by Terry Hedderman

- Tuesday, 6/12/18  John 21:21, Peter seeing [John] saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Even the leading Christian of his day, following a plain, direct order of the Lord felt peer pressure and desired not to be excluded from the group. So, you and I ought to be pretty aware of that weakness and temptation too.

- Tuesday, 6/5/18  Proverbs 31:1, The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. Each parent has material to input to each child on how to be the best, most proper man or woman they can be. All femininity isn’t to be taught by the mom, nor all masculinity by the dad. Each kid needs both parents.

Truth?

“The FBI Didn’t Use an Informant to Go After Trump. They Used One to Protect Him.” — headline, The Washington Post

How thoughtful! And to show how much the Deep State cares, they’re using Mueller to “protect” him even more!

Bible Thoughts by Terry Hedderman

- Tuesday, 5/29/18  Romans 12:1: we can quote the verse, but what does it mean? “Living sacrifice” = living with pain...AND being holy while doing so...AND obeying all the more while doing so. Complaining and quitting are not mentioned. And, BTW, doing all of this is simply “reasonable”: not “commendable.”

My Bible thoughts:
- Tuesday, 5/22/18  Psalm 38:4, For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. Unconfessed, unforsaken sin is TOO heavy for us to care, and it’ll become a physical detriment. Enough already!! Humble yourself and get right with the Lord and with people.
