Proverbs 4:27
"Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil."

Song of Solomon 2:3
"As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste."
In the verse above, the wife says that her husband was "As the apple tree among the trees..."
Ecclesiastes 2:18
"Yea, I hated all my labour which I had taken under the sun: because I should leave it unto the man that shall be after me."
When you look at the life of Solomon, you would think that when he got old he would have looked back and saw a full life of blessings.
Job 32:2
"Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God."
Recently, I was witnessing to an individual who asked me several questions about the Scriptures.
Job 23:6
"Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me."
Job had a false view of how God strengthens His children.
Job 15:6
"Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee."
In an attack against Job, Eliphaz said that Job's own mouth condemned him.
Nehemiah 3:14
"But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof."
During my high school daysI worked at a paper factory.
Ezra 9:3
"And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied."
Ezra's attitude about sin is refreshing.
2 Chronicles 32:31
"Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart."
One of the most misunderstood phrases in the Scriptures is found in the verse above when it says, "God left him, to try him..."
Psalm 37:1
"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity."
"Stand Down," the commanding officer gives to the advancing troops.
