1 John 4:20-21
“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for
he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God
whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he
who loveth God love his brother also.”
Many people have asked me over and over again, “How can I love God?”
Jude 1:15
“To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken
against him.”
Every Christian should desire to avoid ungodly acts.
Proverbs 25:4
“Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.”
Silver can be hidden in dross, and its value will never be discovered without removing the dross that covers it. It doesn’t matter how valuable the silver may be; it is worthless when covered with dross.
Genesis 1:31
“And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”
Mankind is in a constant search for fulfillment. Scores of books have been written to show people how to be fulfilled in life. Seminars are conducted to help people reach fulfillment. Yet, when man has followed all the advice of man, they still find themselves in search of fulfillment.
Genesis 12:4
“So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went
with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out
of Haran.”
Abram’s faith is a faith that every Christian should emulate.
Genesis 24:27
“And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath
not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the
way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren.”
There is a reason why the servant of Abraham was successful in his journey to find a wife for Isaac.
